"Art" in New York City

I imagine the conversation went something like this: "That swimming pool looks like Van Gogh's ear." "It does" said his swimming partner.  "Hey" said the first speaker, "Let's put in upright in Times Square!" So, if you were New York in Rockefeller Center earlier this month you see what appears to be a swimming pool standing on its end titled: 'Van Gogh's Ear'. Huh.
