Lots of Red (and Blue) hanging around Fenway in Boston where Cheryl and I saw the White Sox best the Red Sox back in 2010.

Huangpu River in Red--Shanghai

Lots of yellow but some red as well on this river cruise on the Huangpu River in Shanghai. The buildings in yellow are called the Bund, which is a surprising collection of western buildings along the river. The Chinese say this is Shanghai, a blending of ancient and modern, western and eastern influences. From Stephi and my trip in 2009.

Was walking along in the city and saw these red doors and building, so, of course, I had to take a shot. This street was in the 30's somewhere as I was walking towards the convention center.

Red Streets at Night--Boston Copley Center

The street lights in Boston near Copley Center make a nice redish nighttime scene. 

Red Seats Madrid, New Mexico

Well, even the people of Madrid, New Mexico have to sit somewhere. These are as good a chair as any and, red to boot.

Red Sculpture New York City

A large and strangely shaped sculpture can be found in lower Manhattan. Don't know what it is or what it means, but it fits the red theme....

Red Rocks, Las Vegas

Ok, not as red looking as some of the other shots in this red themed month, but the red rocks are awful red, for rocks. Great hiking area outside of Las Vegas and I was so glad I found something to do besides waste time sitting around the hotel pool. Look forward to getting back to this area later this year.

Red M and M, New York City

Got a shot of the Red M&M looking over Times Square in New York City. That store has every kind of M&M imaginable.

Red Sunset Maui

Usually you need to enhance the colors of a camera shot taken in RAW to get the colors to pop similar to what your eye saw when the shot was taken. Not the case here. The camera caught the shot just as I remembered it. Beautiful red sunset in Maui.

Red Italian Miami

Walking around Miami in the South Beach area, looking for a place to eat. Can't go wrong with Italian, especially framed in the red glow of this sign.

Red Horns Chicago

Did the Chicago Boat Cruise last summer and came across some red boat horns backed by the blue waters of Lake Michigan. Not a great shot on its own, but fits the red theme pretty well. 

Red Gas Sign, Chicago

For some reason this sign was hanging at the Chicago Cultural Center. Must have been from an old gas station. Love to find gas for less but for now, I have just a picture of the sign.

Red Fire Truck San Francisco

If you are going to shoot red, you have to have a red fire engine. Near Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco.

Red Buddha San Francisco

I don't know what a Red Buddha Martini tastes like, but they serve it in San Francisco.

Red Minneapolis

I didn't know what I would do with this shot, but it fits right into the red theme, so I am glad I took it. From the second floor bridges that link all of the buildings in downtown Minneapolis.
