West Side Market Cleveland

One of the top tourist places to visit in Cleveland according to Trip Advisor was a fun stop making us wish that we had something like this in Chicago. Tons of food options with shops selling all kinds of meats and sweets. Great old building with lots of interesting elements.

Cleveland Rising

Not sure of the name for this statute but the hero is rising from flames and water so it looks like Cleveland Rising to me. Hopefully, Jono will have a fun time in Cleveland as he rises in his career.

Naples Reflections

Always looking for the colorful view and sometimes it comes off of a reflection from a building or the water. The later was definately the case while on a run in Naples on a recent work trip.

Clearwater Fishing

Looks like the Pelican isn't reading the signs. Someone's having fish for dinner.

Prudential Center, Boston

Boston is one of my favorite places to visit in my travels. Not sure who the statue is supposed to be. Any ideas?

Looking Up Cleveland

Shot from the lobby of Tower City Center, downtown Cleveland. They have a small collection of shops, a hotel and a Hard Rock Casino. Interesting.

Cleveland Rocks!!!

Jono is in Cleveland now so we got to visit the city while he was working and did the tour of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It was a good couple hours of fun.

Retail Theraphy-- Milwaukee

Cut through a downtown shopping center in Milwaukee last winter on the way to a meeting and saw this colorful t-shirt shop.

Red Rock Hike, Las Vegas

The ultimate end point on one of the hikes in the Red Rock National Park near Las Vegas is to get to this pond, about an hour into the hike. Since I didn't know about this when I started the climb, I wasn't prepared to take a dip before heading back. They say you can see Las Vegas from the end point of this view, but I couldn't see a safe way around the pond so I didn't give it a try.

Red Rock Climb, Las Vegas

In 2011 I finally got outside of Las Vegas for a climb in the Red Rocks National Park in the Mojave Desert which is only 15 minutes from the strip. Have to visit this area again. Funny thing about the Red Rocks, is that the red colored sandstone are actually older than the yellow limestone but in many instances the older rock formation are found under the younger sandstone.

California Route 1 Pacific Ocean View

Nice natural framing on this shot; Got a chance to drive down California Route I from San Francisco to LA back in 2009. Stopped a number of times along the way to get some Pacific Ocean shots. Amazingly beautiful drive.

Moon Rise over Lake Whippoorwill, Orlando

Stayed at a KOA near the Orlando Airport a couple of times with the camper. Got a nice shot of the moon rising over the nearby lake.

Old San Juan Street View

Shot on the streets of Old San Juan. Lots of narrow streets with colorful buildings. Makes for interesting photography.

Old San Juan Water Sprite

They take their water sprite statues very seriously in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. This is part of a very large statue with lots of water themed characters.

Fontainbleu Daytime View

This beautiful hotel was the setting of our sales leaders meeting this May. Great location on Miami Beach. Definitely a young person's hotel. A young person with money as the club inside the hotel had a $150 cover charge for men, $100 for women. No riffraff allowed apparently. I will always remember the pounding club music that would start in the afternoon and go all evening. Fun place to visit.

Montage Laguna Beach

Got to do a national sales meeting at the Laguna Beach Montage. This was the second Montage that I have stayed at, the first being Park City, Utah. All I have to say is that if I get asked to attend a meeting or conference at a Montage, I am all in. Two for two in high end hotels. Really amazing facilities.
