Exercise while drinking? A new sport?

Not sure why this Nashville Pedal Tavern is being filmed. Is there a TV show with pedal taverns as a theme? Or maybe it is an episode for The Bachelor as there is one guy in a suit (but also a guy with a cowboy hat sitting across from him). Anyway, they seemed to be having fun and getting in a workout at the same time.

Bank to Country Western Bar in Nashville

Repurposed. An old bank building in Nashville on the strip and now a honky-tonk dance club. Not sure which use is better but the latter is certainly louder!!!

Grant Park Chicago at Sunset

Love this shot. Love the colors. Believe it or not, it is mostly straight out of camera. The purples, blues, pinks and blacks were there in camera. Posted a black and white version a couple of weeks ago. Like this version just as much. From downtown Chicago in Grant Park.

Love The Beatles

I loved, loved, loved the Beatles Love show at the Mirage in Las Vegas. Saw it when I was there last month. Great show, attached to great music, of course. No plot that I could discern, just colorful dancing set to Beatles music but worth the trip to Vegas, if you are a Beatles Fan, just for that. They don't let you take professional pictures during the show, but cell phone shots are allowed. This was the second time I had seen the show and the first version had much more of a plot. This didn't but was still spectacular. I guy I happened to sit next to was closing on his 50th show--as a spectator!!! I thought I was a fan having attended twice. Wow. Fish Eye'in Around Vegas

Did a work trip to Vegas a few weeks ago and hit the strip for a walk in the evening. All the shinny lights and flashing colors can make someone dizzy enough to gamble away all their money. Didn't work on me. I only lost mostly all my money.

Hey, New York....Winter is Coming

The editors at Viewbug, a photo contest site, awarded this shot a couple of years ago as one of my best. I like it but immediately on viewing it again, all I can think of is that winter is coming. So, here is to the last few days of official summer and hopefully a long, mild fall. Took this shot between meetings in February 2014.
