It's an expensive ride to the top of Freedom Tower, but the view is worth it on a clear day. This is a view to the north and east, catching the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges.

Old and New

I’m a sucker for shots with a mix of building styles and ages. Usually, the best ones are old churches or old office buildings and new, modern glass ones in the background. You are going to get a lot of those types of shots in downtown Manhattan!

Looking Up in Washington DC

Spring is definitely looking up the the Reflection Pond in Washington DC.

NY Yankees Pole-to-Pole

Another in my long running attempt to get to all the US major league ballparks and get a shot from foul pole to foul pole. Nice early season weather for the Yankee's vs the Chicago White Sox and the Sox actually won!!! Anderson even hit a grand slam, which was nice to see. Yes, NY is beaten up but you catch them when they are down and you try to win. The Sox are rebuilding so we are a very up and down team. Go Sox.

No matter what HBO says, Spring Is Coming

Caught this very spring-like scene while walking under the cherry blossoms in Washington DC. The House Davern saying is "Spring is Coming".

Cheryl said, "Is that heaven?".

No, it's just Naperville. Cell phone shots can't do this justice. Cheryl said it looked like heaven. God's rays all over the horizon. Pretty cool visual. The lady and her dog where just passing through the scene so I thought I would use them.

Summer Is Coming

No matter what the Starks' say, based on the weather this weekend, summer is coming. This is a shot from 2011 off of my cousin Anthony's boat, but we will see days like this soon.

Home Opener on Thursday

I'm going to miss the home opener on Thursday but whenever I do go, it snows or rains so this year should be good weather. The good and the bad have already been showing up in the first three games this season with the Sox 1-2. Hope they clean up the errors quickly or it is going to be a long season.
