Out and About New York City

Walked by a Sephora "flash mob" group of dancers putting on a show for the Broadway shoppers last week in New York while out and about last week with my rented 24-70 lens. That gets shipped back today so I am quite sad, but I have one on my birthday wish list so I think I will see it again.

Something I Love

Its hard to get William and Clio to sit still together for a picture but they were in the mood so I was able to get this shot without too much effort at all. This fits today's theme of Something I Love quite well.

Lights On

Tough for me to shoot a shot not in focus, but I thought this one fit the theme of "stars" for the monthly shot of the day challenge better than the in focus shot. Lovely soft "bokeh".

New York Flags

New Yorkers were celebrating love of country by showing the flag on an unseasonably warm December day. Loved the sun shining through the flags.

Looking Up in New York

Wow. Such a beautiful city at night. Lots of color and lots of things to do. Gotta love my rented 14-24mm lens. Never rent one or you will want to immediate own it.

Brooklyn Love: is it fare or fair?

Apparently, all is fare (not fair?) in Love and Brooklyn. Michael Jr's home base for now.

Niagara Falls

I took this back in 2011 but somehow it didn't make it to the Shot of the Day. I just forgot about it. Going through older shots today so problem rectified. Such an amazingly powerful flow of water. Hard to capture in a photograph.
