New York's Central Park is a jewel and fall, of course, is one of the best times to visit the park. Didn't catch it at peak color, but always some pretty views, no matter the season.

Spooky and Wet Naperville Path
Normally, this is a walking path through the trees near my home in Naperville. The melting snow, warmer weather and rain all combined for a spooky/foggy and soggy path, overrun by the nearby creek. Great for pictures. Not so great for walking.

Mirror Mirror on the Walls
When I got out of the car inside this parking lot in Houston, I knew that I had to snap a shot. Loved the weird reflections bouncing all over the place.

Pope's Window
Since Pope voting begins next week, I thought I would post this shot from 2006 of the Pope's bedroom window, which I was told is the second from the right on the top floor. I think he (and, of course, it has to be a "he" in an ossified community like the Catholic Church) will first be seen waving out of that window. A pope can do lots of good, even for us non-believers. Let's hope they pick a good one.

Couldn't Resist
Shot of the Day tries not to post too many pictures of the grandkids, but sometimes you just can't resist.

Hollywood in the Distance
After all the years traveling to LA, I can't remember really ever seeing the Hollywood sign. Got a good view out of an office window on my last trip. Go Hollywood.

Something I love---Bond Screens
One of my photography websites gives a daily suggestion for those doing a 365, or one shot per day for a full year. Today's suggestion is for titled "Something I love", so I figured that I would take a shot of my Bloomberg screens at work as the markets both drive me crazy and keep me sane, at the same time. Gotta love it.
