It's an expensive ride to the top of Freedom Tower, but the view is worth it on a clear day. This is a view to the north and east, catching the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges.

Old and New

I’m a sucker for shots with a mix of building styles and ages. Usually, the best ones are old churches or old office buildings and new, modern glass ones in the background. You are going to get a lot of those types of shots in downtown Manhattan!

Spring is definitely looking up the the Reflection Pond in Washington DC.

NY Yankees Pole-to-Pole

Another in my long running attempt to get to all the US major league ballparks and get a shot from foul pole to foul pole. Nice early season weather for the Yankee's vs the Chicago White Sox and the Sox actually won!!! Anderson even hit a grand slam, which was nice to see. Yes, NY is beaten up but you catch them when they are down and you try to win. The Sox are rebuilding so we are a very up and down team. Go Sox.

No matter what HBO says, Spring Is Coming
