When I took this shot, I was thinking there wasn't cable TV when this building was built. Turns out I was right. The building was built in the late 1890's and this was the headquarters of the
Metropolitan Traction Company, which ran many of the NYC cable cars. Wonderful American Renaissance building listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings.
