On approach to Las Vegas you often get various views of Lake Mead. The white ring around the Lake indicates where the high water mark used to be. Not sure if the lake levels are still falling as drought in parts of the west has subsided somewhat. In any case, with the setting sun, the colors looked quite amazing.
