This is my favorite shot of the year as I love the image of that tiny spec of a human hiking up those huge sand dunes. I also love the darker shadows up on the top of the dunes which also works to give depth to the image. Plus, I know how hard it was to hike up those dunes. So, this shot wins as my shot of the year.
