It has been a couple of years since I have done a summer outdoor 5k but with 10 days serious training under my belt, I was able to complete the grueling 3.1 mile run. (Ok, maybe a bit of an exaggeration.) It was for a good cause to support early detection of pancreatic cancer which took my cousin Colleen way to early. Joe Davern, Jr and I showed up along with Stephen Davern and family. Next year we have to get more to join in for the walk part at least. Anyway, a good time for a good cause.
