I turned around and saw this view and said, "West Side Story" to myself. So, of course, I had to shoot it. I don't think I was actually on the west side--I am thinking I might have been somewhere near SoHo maybe, but no matter. With all those fire escapes, the buildings make a beautiful pattern.
