Green Shoots


A famous social commenter, Chauncey Gardiner, an advisor to presidents, once gave this quote when asked if government can stimulate economic growth with temporary incentives. He said, "As long as the roots are not severed, all is well. And all will be well in the garden.” ... He explains that “growth has its seasons.” And, yes, “there will be growth in the spring.” Brilliant words for these times. Can you recall who spoke those words and the movie?
