El Yunque is the only tropic rain forest in the United States. It is also the smallest national park of the US Forest Service but it has more diversity in plant and animal life than any other park in the system. This shot was taken while standing under a canopy of ferns. Got lucky with a sunny day while visiting last week as it rains over 200 days a year.
